I was initially referred to Dr. Sacks for sinus migraines, and while under his care I came down with a horrible case of shingles. I have never experienced pain like that before. Thankfully, Dr. Sacks specializes in shingles pain and was able to help me get back to my life. I cannot thank him enough.
Dr. Sacks is the Best ~ He's managed my pain for several years now. Keeping me out of the hospital. Having fibromyalgia and other medical issues, he prescribed the right combination of medication that worked. It didn’t happen overnight, he’s so patient with working with his patient. My issue was I would stop taking the meds once I felt better without telling Dr. Sacks, then I would end up in emergency and sometimes hospitalized for them to manage my severe pain. Dr. Sacks is absolutely wonderful. I sought a provider in LA to transfer to, and am so grateful I found him. Dr. Sacks has worked hard to coordinate care with my previous provider and provide continuity. He listens to my descriptions of what has and hasn't worked well for me previously with diligence and respect, and explains matters extremely clearly. Dr. Sacks is AMAZING! He has changed my life. He is kind, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and even funny at times, when his schedule allows for a quick joke during appointments. I had gone to SEVERAL doctors before him for the same medical issues, without relief. He has now been my provider for 1.5 years. WELL worth what is a very long commute for me. Thank you SO much, Dr. Sacks !!!!
