Dr. Abraham is an astute professional that is quite rare in SWFL. He does not “go through the motions” like so many other colleagues in his field. When he asks a question, it is pertinent to you, the individual. Unlike most other doctors, especially those affiliated with Lee Health, who just recite the same, unrelated, impersonal questions that are asked to any, and all, that walk into their office. You are a person and a patient, to Dr. Abraham, not just someone with an appointment.

Dr. Abraham is incredibly rude and becomes angry if you begin speaking without his permission. He overmedicates, leaves the door wide open during your 3 minute appt. for others to listen in, and does not care about your general well-being. He often schedules multiple clients per time slot, so that multiple clients are sitting in his office while you are being seen. There is no privacy to your time with him.

He knows what he's doing,he's not a therapist he's a psychiatrist who will provide you with the proper medication so you can get better on your own. Therapists will lie to you. He won't and he doesn't care if you don't like what he has to say ,truth hurts. Give a,quick brief summary of your problem and he will already know what your problem is within 30 seconds . He's not here to hold your hand and be your dad. He's here so you can continue with your life . 3 to 5 minutes is enough time after a few visits. Don't touch him, h... read more

I love this Dr. I was aware of his quirks, but we all have idiosyncrasies. But I listened to him and answered his questions. He asked what medication I wanted and gave me what I asked for. He suggested starting with a smaller dose which I agreed. As long as you listen and only answer briefly, it’s fine. All I require is understanding and caring from my physician and life is good.

No waiting room, no staff and he has his patients chairs so far away from his desk that you can hardly hear anything he says. Refused a handshake, asked me to sign a HIPPA agreement, so I slid my chair forward to use his desk (which he didn't like) then asked me to place my chair back on the opposite side of the room. I explained to him that I have trouble with my ears and he didn't care. He asks extremely vague questions and hates to explain himself further....just a complete joke of an appointment. I diagnosed myself bette... read more

Dr. Abraham is unsuitable and therefore unlikely to promote success or well-being. I've been going to him for 6 months and he still doesn't know who I am. His appointments are >3 minutes, which some might consider a good thing. However, every other Dr. I've seen actually took their time and talked to me, upwards of 30 min, and offered insight into what was going on with my brain and how certain drugs would help my neurochemistry, and what changes in lifestyle and activity might help my condition. The only words spoken during... read more

I've had about a dozen appointments with this guy. I went to him because I got baker acted a year ago as a result of drug induced psychosis. I've been sober and haven't experienced any symptoms for about a year. I asked him if he could put in writing that I was recovered, and healthy, so that I could legally own a firearm in 5 years. He said not in a million years. Guess I have no 2nd amendment rights, might as well be a felon.

Again, he is billing my insurance for visits that never happened. He is rude, gruff, and truely doesn't care about his patients well being. I've put up with him for 8 years now. No more...I'm moving on. He is not helpful, or even that knowledgeable about meds. Twice I've taken my perscriptions to the pharmacy and there is no such dose on these medications. I had to reschedual, giving him 36 hours notice, he still billed my insurance and was paid! Now he wants me to give him $80 cash for the missed appointment. I could go on ... read more
