Dr. Fishman is very caring and highly competent. I am just over the line to the obese catagory on my BMI. Having been to him numerous times, I sensed that he was becomming impatient with my inablity to take the weight off. He gets firmer, and firmer, and firmer with each visit. I had, for years, walked by a mirror on a daily basis, and was already aware of the problem without a lecture, whereby he came over as judgemental, as time passed. Dr. Fishman, himself, brings the same descipline to his own eating habits that he likel... read more

My family has been seeing Dr. Fishman for 20+ years now, he is a wonderful doctor who really cares, he takes his time and considers all options to improve your health and quality of life. I'm happy to wait for Dr Fishman, because I know from experience he is taking his time with each patient as I know he will with me. I think the world of Dr Fishman and the care he provides.

This is the best doctor that I have ever had. I will agree with the other posts that his wait time can be very irritating. My last visit was a little better and I only waited about 15 minutes.

Dr. Fishman has been my doctor for almost 30 years. I would never change. He has treated my parents as well. My mother went to his office not feeling well and he immediately knew it was a heart attach. He saved her life. My father lived many years longer than expected due to Doc and his treatments. I am currently having problems and you better beleive he is making sure I see the finest doctors and even calls your home or the hospital room you are in to check on you. I couldn't even imagine a better doctor anywhere. Yes, you ... read more

Dr. Fishman is outstanding. He thinks out of the box. I am a grandmother that struggles with bronchitis and asthma, and I am about 30 pounds overweight. He is the ONLY doctor in my 64 years on earth that has ever thought to stop X-raying my lungs for pneumonia during bronchial asthma that lasted for months, and instead, thought to get a CT my sinus areas. That showed I needed surgery for a broken nose that I had had since being a toddler, and had other sinus issues, necessatating 3 surgeries in one. Surgery was performed by ... read more

I saw Dr. Fishman for several years but ended up leaving in search of a new doctor. It's true - he's got excellent bedside manners and when he's in the room with you, you are the only patient that exists in the entire world. I left for two reasons: I was in search of a doctor who knew more about celiac and thyroid issues than I did, and I couldn't keep taking half days to see the doctor. If he has been running late for 20 years, why doesn't his staff just schedule fewer appointments instead of expecting people to wait 2 hour... read more

I've heard he used to be very good. Now he is not accepting new patients without "interview" first. Staff can not tell you how much "interview" costs and whether covered by insurance. Since this is the office policy and in current use for "new" patients, they must have had to submit to insurance. Having done so they must know the answer to the questions. Sounds like both he and his staff have outgrown their practice, self importance is what I felt the staff projected.
