My fiancé was hospitalized for a week for cyclic vomiting due to a rare condition called Cannabinoid Hypermesis. Dr. Godara treated him like he had a substance abuse problem (despite the fact that my fiancé used marijuana medicinally & had immediately stopped using it when he became sick) and told him to “find some hobbies, volunteer, make your mom proud”.
