Dr. Bedi lied to me and my family. Dr. Bedi wanted me to have an unnecessary unilateral breast cancer surgery when all I need is a lumpectomy surgery. Dr. Bedi also was informed on January 7, 2025, that the titanium clips in my right breast are physically hurting me, and yes, she was informed that I've had them in my right breast since November 29, 2024. Dr. Bedi was asked to take a biopsy by another surgeon who discovered a sizable tumor in my axillary node during a procedure. Unfortunately she only collected a couple of lymphnodes and did not biopsy the tumor. This lead to the wrong treatment plan which unnecessarily caused me to be very sick and admitted to the hospital twice. When she discovered during surgery that the treatment did not work she was clearly upset about the situation. To say that Dr Bedi is thorough, caring and an expert in breast cancer care is an understatement! Having her as my physician is somewhere I never thought I'd find myself, but I thank God that he brought me to her and the incredible staff at Mercy when I needed them. I am a nurse practitioner and know very well the good from the not so much.....Dr Bedi has gone above and beyond in her treatment of me. I encourage other providers to refer their patients to her.
I had been seeing Dr. Bedi since 2005, She had full knowleges and wiill skill of my each visiting, I am very gratefaull that I can have her watch over my heatlh past years and highly recommander to others.
.Had not good experience. When appointment was made was told this was a breast specialist, not a surgeon. Dr. Was ready to give ultrasound guided biopsy leaving behind in me a small piece of metal and not telling me the possible negative issues it could cause, that I found out on my own becase I look into things. Be careful, get many opinions and remember this is a surgeon, and what do they do? Cut. Bless you, do your research! ??
