Excellent experience. Second time having same operation (over twenty years separation different doctor) and this was much better then expected. Hospital, office visits, operation and recovery went smoothly. The worst pain experienced was the insertion of the IV needle. Discomfort for about a week then return to normal life. Everything clearly described, somethings maybe too clearly described.
Dr. Lehr would be highly recommended to family, friends and others that are seeking a general surgeon. He is a very skilled surgeon and his bedside manners are truly tremendous. Dr. Lehr has a genuine concern for his patients’ health & welfare. He is very thorough with the explanation of the procedure that is going to be preformed and encourage you to ask questions. Dr. Lehr aslo works with a team of excellent assistants.
My acquaintance with Dr. Lehr is very limited. I met him in the hospital prior to the operation where efforts were made with the hopes of avoiding surgery. That effort failed. So surgery was performed. Surgery was successful. I value Dr. Lehr's skill and his analysis of problematic health issues especially as it relates to me. I'm still alive !
Dr. Kimmelman performed my laparoscopic cholecystectomy in February and was amazing! This was my first surgery ever so, it goes without saying that I was incredibly nervous! Dr. Kimmelman is very thorough and explains every single step of the procedure and makes sure you feel at ease, not only with him as a surgeon but, in the actual procedure itself. Dr. Kimmelman will be my number one choice should I ever have a need for another surgery. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Kimmelman performed my emergency surgery at the hospital and I had two follow-up visits with him at his office. I found him to be a knowledgeable surgeon and was pleased with the surgery. His staff was very courteous, I did not have a long wait time at the office and it was easy to schedule an appointment. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Lehr performed my father's hernia surgery at West Boca Medical Center. He was so warm and genuine putting my Dad and my entire family at ease. The surgery was a complete success and my Dad is home after 5 days post surgery. A+ for Dr. Lehr!
Dr. Kimmelman performed my partial colectomy. He did a wonderful job and always took his time to explain what was going to happen before and after my surgery.
