This doctor was quite attentive to a patient in the hospital setting, therefore the patient’s spouse decided to see him. The doctor was quite dismissive and rude to the patient in his office. He kept this senior patient waiting for almost 2 hours, then verbally stated out loud that he did not like the patient’s type of insurance and that the referral was unacceptable as it came from a nurse practitioner instead of a MD. This is one unethical practice at best!... Here is my story. My GP explained that I will need a vascular specialist and personally made an emergency appointment with Dr. Nishanian for severe blood clot in my leg. All reports and info was sent. Next day Dr. Nishanian calls me and strongly suggested to go to an emergency room ASAP. He asked me if I was vaccinated and if I had Covid and I sad yes. He sad it was Covid related and urgent and I needed it to be first treated by ER doctor and then I can do the follow up. He also ask... read more

Spent 8 days in hospital with blood clots and serious infection from a procedure in the doctors office. Went back to doctor before the issue with a fever and sore leg and he was rushed to get out of the office so did not take temperature and was told to go home and take two asprin. That evening was rushed by ambulance to hospital with 103 fever. Almost died. Weeks of medicine, costs, and nurse visits followed. No office response, only blaming others.

I think Dr Nishanian is a very brilliant,knowledgable surgeon.Dr. did a recent endarterectomy on me having been 80% blockage on the right side of my carotid and he went over everything in detail before and after the surgery. He is a very thorough, personable caring Dr. He saved my life as iam sure so many of his patients lives due to his skills. I thanked him with all sincerity for the surgery he performed on me.I would recommend him to everyone needing a vascular surgeon.

I've never had an experience as negative as the one I faced in this office. Your first warning should be that none of the phone calls you make during work hours actually get answered. I warn any potential patient from this ridiculous side circus, where appointments are routinely rescheduled because the doctor is on call (WHY MAKE APPOINTMENTS WHEN YOU'RE ON CALL?) and the moody teenage receptionist who repeats that the doctor will be there any minute, when she knows he's in surgery.

The best doctor and surgeon. Had no complications or problems with my major surgery several years back. Have been going to him for 7 years. He recently did a painless procedure to rid me of my very painful varicose veins in one leg. It is a pleasure to walk now.. I recommend him to my friends and family.

Excellent doctor...explains everything and does not rush you out...the newest and best equipment...I could not walk very much because of leg pain from bulging and painful blue veins on my legs...he said he could fix the problem with no pain and no down time..he was right...no discomfort at all now or even right after the procedure...he is the best.
