At first I was pleased to find a new provider since the old provider retired & the other allergist in town decided he no longer wanted to practice medicine & travel the world. My primary gave me a referral to Dr. Frederick Herman, Allergist & he said, at the initial appointment that he is one of the few left here in town & its a hard business but lets get at it as your concerns of all your allergies is alarming & needs addressed- I agreed. My daughter in law has been unable to get weekly Allergy shot she needs for over a month now. The doctor moved offices and has been unable to bill insurance. The nurse who was supposed to issue shot called in twice. Both times there was no call. This included attempted drive across town to a different office. Office Manager should be fired for these issues. Dr should be ashamed.
Dr Herman is 5 stars BUT his staff is zero stars. He’s very knowledgeable with EDS MCAS POTS etc. medically, I’m a very complicated case. Unfortunately his staff has delayed my medication over and over. As I’m writing this review: I’ve been waiting 10 weeks for them to get the necessary info to my specialty pharmacy to increase the dose on my biologic. I need it to function and not go into MCAS attacks/anaphylaxis. Getting patients their medication in a timely manner is extremely important. Not something that doctors staff s... read more
Terrible experience. We had an appointment for 8 am and was on time with paperwork completed. After nearly an hour after check in, we were still waiting. I asked if that was the typical structure and I was told yes, clients usually wait an hour. I asked if we could just come at 8:45 for an 8am appointment since the wait was so long and was told we only get a 15 minute grace period....yet, client can just sit for an hour. Nope!
