I took my son to Dr Leickly today for a second opinion. We have seen a total of 4 allergists in 2 different states and hands down, Dr Leickly is the BEST allergist we have seen. His most recent allergist wanted us to do a home food challenge for tree nuts he has previously tested positive for, hence the second opinion! Very unprofessional, my son had an appt scheduled 3-months out, I had an emergency which could happen in a 3-month span and could not physically take him to his appt. Called the office about appt & to possibly reschedule was then told the next appt would be 4 months later, so 7-months for a doctor's appt while your child suffers (really!!!) I was referred to Dr. Leickly by a friend who has a son with an anaphylaxis peanut allergy. I had long suspected that my son had either a food allergy or sensitivity although I wasn't quite sure what he was allergic to. I thought perhaps food-dye. Our daughter was a patient with the Dr. Leickley concerning her allergy to eggs. Our pediatrician recommended that we go to Dr Leickley to have him administer the Influenza vaccination. Leickley spoke with us for several minutes (<10) and told us to schedule an appointment to have the shot given at his office. He didn't believe at the time that she was in any threat for a reaction.
