Dr. Yau is very thorough and careful in his care of patients. I had three procedures with him and they were always explained ahead of time in great detail.

I have severe 95% left Carotid Artery Stenosis and total Right side 100% occlusion. He transferred me to BaylorScott&White Heart hospital in Plano for a scheduled surgery that should have been routine but turned out to be very difficult and installed stents in the the artery. He is a very gifted and caring surgeon that has no qualms about accepting a challenge I trusted my life to him and his staff and if I had to do it all again I would. Five Stars aren't nearly enough.
Initially we were happy with Dr. Yau's diagnosis regarding my father's condition and the procedures that needed to be done to improve my dad's quality of life. However, since my father's surgeries we realize the lack of communication on Dr. Yau's part and how we were not kept in the loop about my fathers' condition and if it was in his best interest to even have surgery or put it off to a later time to give my father additional time to recover.
