Dr Segretto evaluated my shoulder rotor cuff condition thoughtfully and very thoroughly explained all my options. He is a very meticulous surgeon that covered every surhucal detail that put me Ina comfortable mindset understanding the whole surgical process and proactive up my physical therapy for me thereafter. Great man and doctor!

During my first appointment, I told him I was on disability, and he said it wouldn’t be a problem (it was a problem because he didn’t like filling out the paperwork every 6 weeks which was required). I was limping from a bad car accident and I told him that. After some testing he said I had “some” knee damage and he thought an arthroscopy would be the way to go. I called 3 days 6 times to make a schedule an appointment. First a girl said can u call us back in 10 min..I called voicemail popped up we're closed..Second day same girl i will call u back in 2 min, but never called..I called again voicemail again and said leave a message..I left a message noone called me back..I called today same girl said hold the line..waited about 10 min she hung up the phone on me !! Dr. Segreto was very compassionate and thoughtfully explained what I needed to do to get better. Great doctor that cured my pain in hours that I had for months...

Had Knee surgery 6-9-20. DR Segreto did and outstanding job. One day after, I am walking around with much less pain. He was very informative and listened to what I had to say. Going back in two weeks for the other knee.

BEWARE! Terrible hack 10000%! Complete hatchet job on my shoulder. First he hit me with so many cortisone shots it rotted my shoulder, and then butchered me in surgery! Other surgeons have literally called him a hack and he is not well liked around here. Those ironic 5 star reviews seem suspiciously manufactured, just take a look a the spread and the opinions stated. Not robots but I sure as Hell could tell you I don’t believe they’re real/honest patients. Stay away or don’t but this is the honest truth.

I saw Dr Segreto on 2/1/18. He kept leaving the room and as I was trying to tell him my symptoms he talked over me. He recommended an MRI which I had on 2/6/18. I was told I needed an ins authorization so I waited a couple of days then called the office and spoke to a very rude woman who told me she didn’t know she had to get me an authorization. I called today 2/9 and was told they got the results on 2/7 & maybe someone called and left a message. No! Never going back!

I saw the doctor 1 week after I injured my self. He sent me for an MRI. I made an appointment to see him once he received the results. The doctor was not available for a week after so I made the appointment. 2 days before the appointment they called to move the appointment to that evening. I was happy to find out what I did and how I can fix it. Just a couple of hours before the appointment they called and moved it back to the original date. Dr. Segreto is an excellent surgeon. He is straight forward. If you want someone who is honest about options for treatment, he is your Doctor. Also, the surgery center he uses in Bay Shore is incredible. The nursing and reception staff are incredibly helpful and made it actually enjoyable to be there. It is the cleanest facility you will ever see.
