Dr DiMaio performed my left hip replacement 2 years ago. Surgery successful of course. Dr. DiMaio is probably strongest attention to detail. He covers all possibilities, pre- and post- surgery . Follow- ups also enjoyable. He and staff are un-matched in their field.-Dan
Dr. Dimaio performed a total hip replacement for me. Prior to the surgery I was walking with a limp and in a lot of pain. Ten weeks later I walk 5 miles a day pain free. He is the definition of RUDE and condescending. Has NO bedside manners whatsoever but he does have a HUGE ego!
Saw Dr DiMaio within minutes of my arrival. Parking and access were great, no barriers. Dr DiMaio explained I needed to see the doctors who treat me and get surgical clearance. He saved my life because my cardiologist found I had a life threatening issue. If it wasn’t for Dr DiMaios high expectations and particular requirements I could have seen a Dr who just wanted to operate on me with no thought of my health history.
Dr Demaio performed knee replacement surgery and I’m doing very well. I didn’t experience severe pain. I will have my other knee replaced and I will again ask Dr. Demaio to do the surgery. Dr Demaio is direct and to the point. Office staff are professional and courteous.
Dr. Dimaio & all of the staff were so professional & welcoming! Highly recommend this office & especially Dr. Dimaio who has so much knowledge & compassion! I felt very comfortable with him & he was extremely thorough & really helped me to get better!

He's a nightmare. Plain and simple. The office staff is caring and lovely but if you are interested in seeing a surgeon who shows compassion and caring for his patient, he's not your man. Dr. DiMaio is a horrible human being who unfortunately feels no discomfort in making patients cry and staffers fearful of his wrath. I have personally seen this first hand and its unacceptable. His staff lives in constant fear of him. There are a number of other equally talented surgeons who deserve your business.
My experience was terrible. I need a total knee replacement, but the doctor would not operate on me until I lose weight. Once it was determined that I was not an immediate surgical candidate, the doctor was very dismissive to me. Referred me a Bariatric surgery practice that was out of network with my insurance company ( he told me they were). He spent about 30 with me after he read my X-ray, only telling me that my knee was shot. No further explanation, no recommendations as to how to safely ambulate until I lose the weight... read more
