My 84 year old father was discharged from the hospital by this dr. He has a collapsed stent in his carotid artery along with a few other ailments. I left work when I found out they were discharging my father because I wanted to speak with him and share my concerns. I didnt get to the hospital on time to speak with Dr. Portugal. I had asked the nurse to page him so we could speak about my fathers discharge. Dr. Portugal actually refused to speak to me because he already spoke to my parents.
