Dr. Annis has been in my corner for several years, through thick and thin. I am grateful for his professionalism, guidance and humanity. Always.
I made sure he's within my insurance network, but when I made an appointment, he said that my insurance takes too long to pay him, so he told me to pay out-of-pocket. I double checked with my insurance, and was told he IS indeed in the network and that I should only pay the co-pay. If he doesn't want to accept a particular insurance then why doesn't he just get out of the network???
All I can say is that he doesn't care about his patients but will prescribe anything you want. He will see you for 5 minutes maybe 10 minutes top, and sometimes want to replace in-person sessions with a call. All he cares about is his money.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of this review, I must remain anonymous. Frank Anis is a genius & a heartfelt wonder. I have and will continue to refer family and friends. I trust his process and insights without reservations. My reoccurring PTSD is gone. His work and tools are still part of my life and my family’s wellbeing. I cannot recommend Dr. Anis highly enough! The most important thing I can share about Dr. Annis is that he believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. He listens to the patient on what line of thinking one has, and goes from there. He is honest and trustworthy, clear with expectations from the beginning, compassionate, and very conservative when it comes to prescribing medication. I have seen him for many years on and off, and he is honestly the ONLY Psychiatrist I trust!
