I will absolutely recommend Dr. Kuwamura and his staff. They are sensitive to your needs, provide treatment options and each's pros and cons, follows through his promises and your care.. I had a neck (cervical) and back fusions (L4/L5-S1) and the greatest of care through recovery and thereafter to assure the best possible outcome. I am indebted to his care, his staff for the care and outcomes of both surgeries.
Dr. Kuwamura did neck surgery in 2000 for disc problems. He fixed on and we are monitoring two for detestation. He is one of the best Doctor's I have. He is thorough, explains thing in a way and will answer any questions with his great bedside manner. I would and do recommend him for neck problems. Be prepared, at times there is a waite, but he is worth it.

Dr K is a very compassionate man. My first visit with him was at least 45 - 60 mins in length. He went over my records and tests in depth, answered all my questions and set up a treatment plan. I feel very confident I have found the right back doctor for me.
Dr kuwamura did a ALIF (LUMBAR FUSION) On my lower back going on 4 years ago, still going strong. Got my life back thanks to him. No more pain meds! He's professional and to the point. Comes in and gets the job done. If your to the point your considering surgery talk to him.
Dr. Kuwamura is my hero. I had severe sciatic pain for 8 months that did not respond to injections. It was due to an issue with a disc in my lower back pinching a nerve. I had a microdiscectomy done by Dr. Kuwamura last Wednesday and I feel amazing. The pain is gone, I am so excited to have my life back. I am very grateful for his expertise, his wonderful bedside manner. He explains everything well and he listens. He has been where his patients are and he truly understands. I am so happy!
