I was disappointed that Dr. Congiusta didn’t take more time to examine my knee. For example looking at me walk and see how the knee gives out. Paid more attention to my X-ray a than to me the person
The entire team, before, during and after my two surgeries was attentive, efficient, caring and helpful.
Hip replacement - back in action amazingly fast. Dr. Congiusta is great about explaining your issue and what to expect if you elect surgery. He does not push patients into surgical procedures, patient makes up their own mind. He has done both my hips and results are A+++. Just make sure to work hard at PT afterwards and in 4-5 months you will forget you even had a hip replacement!
This was my yearly followup on my left hip replacement. Good visit. Dr Conquista is easy to talk to and never rushes me. Willing to answer my frequent questions.

My surgery was seamless, all went just as he explained. Doctor put in my new knee and that night I walked up 14 steps to my bedroom with no problem.
He has excellent bed manners. He keep you at ease while explaining my situation. I will certainly recommend him to my friends and family.
After taking several x-rays, he diagnosed my problem. He said that I had osteo-arthritis. He recommended a cortisone shot. He also said that the cartilage on the right side of my knee was thinning. He said the results of the cortisone shot could take up to two weeks. He also said he had other treatments he could use if my treatment did not work.
