TPO was established in 1978 and has grown to include 7 physicians, two office locations, in-office extremity MRI as well as Phyiscal and Occupational Therapy. Our offices are conveniently located on the campus of Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla and near the UTC area.

I never met a more devoted and highly skilled doctor of orthopedic surgery. I had a double knee replacement at Scripps hospital 12/27/2017 & I am doing fantastic! Even after having bilateral knee surgery, I was walking without assistance in 4 weeks! What more can you ask for when could barely walk for a whole year before my surgery. For me, Dr. Craig Swenson is a miracle doctor.
Dr. Swenson has an excellent reputation as a orthopaedic surgeon and is booked out for months in advance. Unfortunately, I won't be able to find out for myself because his assistant Natalie (sic?) was shockingly rude, impatient and condescending when I called to make an appointment, and and abruptly ended our call by hanging up on me. A second phone call proved even more frustrating.
