Last year, Dr. Wapner completely ignored 7 diopters horizontal prisms I've been prescribed since double vision in 2000. He sent me to someone who "specializes" in prisms, but then my insurance didn't cover and RX was wrong in the first place. Since Dr Wapner was more interested in my past radio career (who I know) and had no idea the severity of double vision when he said it could be surgically corrected, my impression is that he's not paying attention to his job. He wasted a lot of my time.
This place is very unfriendly and patient has no privacy. Left door open so people in waiting room coul hear everything. Saw us for 5 minutes and rescheduled to see dr in same office a month and a half out. Couldn’t even tell what a cataract was. Charged an outrageous amount for nothing. Do not recommend
Went to get my yearly vision check done and his main office is terrible at communication. The first sample contacts I received were awful so they gave me a new brand to try. They didn't bother to tell me that they were changing them to a monthly contact instead of a daily so I ended up throwing the pair away after 1 day. I called back to ask about it and she said she would give me a sample of a different brand of dailies. She told me they would be delivered to their South Jordan office on a Thursday afternoon.
