I highly recommend Dr. Shum. She is professional, thorough and recommended a course of physical therapy that has already had great results. Dr Shum was patient and caring as I presented my concerns.

Hi Dina! We are happy to hear you were satisfied with your visit. Please don't hesitate to contact us if ever your in need.
I was very happy with Dr. Shum and her staff. She explained what she was doing and was very thorough. I read prior to my visit that my procedure would not work for my neck pain unless I received both the EMG and the botox shots in the same visit. I read that other Dr's do not do both of these things, but Dr. Shum did without me even asking.
I had seriously searched for someone who had the ability to eliminate the pain in my legs when I was at rest or sleeping. I had a stroke in 1985, the cramping become so unbearable in 2013 I began to look for a doctor. I would be in a sound sleep and my leg, foot and ankle would cramp. Some nights it would be my leg some nights it would be my foot. But, nevertheless I was awoken, crying and in severe pain. When I found Dr . Shum I was elated. The Botox regime Dr. Shum is doing the trick.
Her office is not professional they do not follow up with call's left with their office staff. I had a prescription sent in to wrong pharmacy and when i called got bounced around. I just got a letter from expresscripts telling me the script was not covered and the doctors office should pick another med. I still haven't heard from her office and have appointment in a week. After this review she wil probably drop me as a patient instead correcting the problem. I just want some help
Always call their office before going to your appt or better yet call the day before so you don't get there and find the PA is not there and they never called you. This way you won't lose a day of work. I wouldn't have minded so much but the male staffer at the reception desk just blew off the fact that I just wasted my day and instead of offering an apology he just started to look when the PA had an opening. Tried calling for another appt a few days later and was kept on hold for over 15 min.
