After 2 major spinal surgeries during Thanksgiving week 2024, 2 rehabilitation stays totalling 6-7 weeks, my van sitting all winter at Lutheran Hospital (accumulating approximately $3K of damages from multiple freezes) as I recovered extenuating circumstances piled into my life. As a result I unintentionally broke the pain management contract by obtaining pain Rx (by another provider.) Terrible......he is very Rude ! Don't listen.....His NP didn't get my information down well enough for him to understand. The chicks at the front desk are nasty as the office. It was dirty.Was my second visit after 5 yrs. Never again....Would never refer him to anyone.I literally had an anxiety attack talking to him. His Rudeness is off the chain. Him n his Staff needs to learn how to deal with the Public. The wait time.....They will never ever be in my business anymore.

I have had nothing but a great experience with Dr. Kara. He listens very well when I tell him what I need and responds appropriately. He works with me as a team and lets me try things that I think will work., and if it doesn’t, he gives me his best recommendations. He has a very easy-going and friendly manner, and I actually enjoyed my visits with him.

Dr Kara did not listen to me or read any of 3 years of my medical charts he ask me to take to initial appt. I provided an UDS prior to seeing him but ask nurse to discard it prior to leaving, as I knew I would never return. I then received bill from lab for over $300 (after Ins paid). His only option for migraine management was Botox even though I have taken another option daily for 30+ years, which works for me. Felt he assumed I was drug seeking - he could use education on that issue.

Dr. Kara is an extremely caring Doctor. He was able to address my concerns and made me feel comfortable. I'm new to MEDICARE and wanted a doctor to accept my insurance which he did. He also made sure that my risks for stroke and heart attack that are related to pain conditions was safe. I feel like Dr. Kara has been the best doctor I have ever been to!

Dr. Kara wasn't like the other he never tried to minimize my pain. He asked what I thought would help, what had worked in the past & he came up with a treatment plan that was perfect. He realizes that my quality of life had decreased & I was struggling daily to do normal every day chores.

I would never send any one there he has no bed side manner and is so rude he made a nurse cry one time he make you feel bad for everything and half the time you cant really understand him

Don't waste your time !!! Even though you read all his achievements-awards. He Sucks. I visited twice, he nor his NP could remember why nor get there reports RIGHT. His NP couldn't even get my return visit right. WOW DR. KARA mabe u should retire. I have EDS-CRPS and failed lumbar n cervical fusion. Hmmm DR kara isn't this your field. Stay away.....

Always compassionate and helpful explaining anything I have questions about. He is also sympathetic yet stern when it comes to apprehension or fear of needles. The needle is not my enemy, the pain is (not his quote, just how he has helped me to see my treatments). I truly would be lost in a world of unbearable pain if it were not for this angel on earth!
