Dr. Mengistu was the 6th surgeon I saw for my very complicated problem....He was the only one that would accept me and use his amazing skills to correct the issue. I can't even express how grateful I am to him. Not only is he a brilliant surgeon but one of the kindest most thoughtful professionals I have ever met. And his office staff is so helpful and sweet...you never feel that you might be bothering them with too many questions. You won't find a better surgeon.
I had major colostomy emergency surgery Sept 8, 2016. Had it reversed Sept 27, 2018. Dr Fikre was my surgeon both times. To say that he worked under Jesus saved my life, as well as my Dr Eileen Cordero. He is truly amazing. I still have Dr Cordero!

I wish he was my regular doctor. He explained everything I could even think of. He spent a long time calming my nerves. Yeah, finally a great doctor. So rare here in Nevada!!
Dr. Mengistu is one of the most amazing doctors I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. My husband had an emergency appendectomy and we were lucky enough to have Dr. Mengistu as our surgeon. He was thorough and kind and made sure both my husband and I were comfortable and answered all questions we had!
