Dr. Castro is a very professional, experienced and knowledgeable physician. He is extremely respectful, treating me always with decency, respect and professionalism. Highly recommended as a Gastroenterologist.
It Was a pleasure to be taken care by Dr. Fernando Castro-Pavia. I recommend him to any body that has a gastrointestinal problems, very professional. May God Bless him and the rest of the staff that was there for me. My Colonoscopy was on 02/06/2019 amazing , no pain at all.
I found Dr. Castro gracious and polite. More to the point, he diagnosed in about one minute the difficulty my husband was having, after my husband's primary care doctor in another city had no idea what to do. He also took the time to explain to both of us the science behind the problem. My husband has now been taking the medicine he prescribed for one year and my husband's problem is solved.
I regret going to Castro considering his poor knowledge base and incredibly arrogant demeanor. His care plans are not evidence based and his bedside manner lacking. I would never go back and warn everyone to think twice before going to him.
Worst experience with a doctor I have ever encountered. Dr. Castro was condescending & dismissive and when I asked questions, he scoffed and snickered at me. In his arrogant and cruel demeanor lives an inept person masquerading as a doctor...He missed a serious complication and without another doctor giving me the respect and attention at another facility, I faced a medical diagnosis that could have escalated into a grave emergency that cold have been avoided.
Dr. Castro-Pavia was very helpful and insightful in diagnosing a gastro issue that turned out to be other than what other doctors thought it was.
