Dr. Vilella did my total knee a week ago. 3 days out I was walking without assistive aids and doing great with ROM and strengthening. His office staff all the way to his team in the OR including anesthesia are the best! I would never consider going to anyone else!!
Dr. V-H performed my surgery 2012 in Miami Jackson Hospital. I was 60 years old. I am now 71 years old and still going! No one knows that I ever had hip and femur replacement. I was back to riding my horses AMA about nine months after surgery! I now live in Ocala and still riding/exercising my thoroughbred racehorses! He and God are phenomenal!! I have told many people over the years to try to have him to do their hip/knee, whatever, replacement!!!
I received a hip replacement from Dr Vilella. If I require the other hip (or knee issue) I wouldn’t want another surgeon.
Surgeon changed my quality of life. Total hip replacement was well worth it in your hands. Thank you Dr. Vilella!
Horrible bed side manners. No empathy, just a cold doctor. Anyone can have a bad day but this guy is a jerk. He doesn't want to take time to talk to you and explain. What happened to doctors that cared? They're not God's, this isnt the 80s

Dr. Hernandez listens, explains plainly, has a great manner and is very easy to talk too. All qualities every Doctor should have but unfortunately do not. I would highly recommend him.
Dr.Vilella is an excellent orthopedic, as a patient I always feel free to ask him anything related to my pain or procedure, he explained very clearly. He loves his patients, he is an excellent surgeon.
