I would recommend this doctor.
Only saw him long enough to stick needle in my leg after the teck did the first part of EMG. DR FRM LAFAYETTE SAW ME AN ORDERED TESTS. NURSE PRACTIONER read the written report and told me i wold need surgery for disca pressing on nerve bo no surgeon would do it cause i was 83 and argued when i told her i was 72. Misdiagnosed me an now waiting for neurulogist appt in baton rougeand leg is worse aftet waiting for 5 more months an teo other drs since misdiagnosis. Do not go there. Never
Does not take the time to talk and listen to patients. Knows nothing of patient history before writing prescriptions or even gets to know his patients. Always in a hurry to push patients out the door, no eye contact, and over schedules. 6 patients scheduled for 9:00 with next block of patients at 9:15. There is no way he can give quality service with that schedule. Has a prescription half way filled out while walking in the room.
I have been a patient of Dr. Shamieh's off and on for 30 years. He is a consummate professional with a big heart. He is concerned about his patients and shows it.
Dr. Shamieh has a great heart for his patients.
This physician has cancelled two appointments with my 85-year old parent. Yesterday the office called to say that he wasn't working on Monday because of Mardi Gras. So why did they schedule the appointment a month ago? His nurse practioner didn't know about my parent's Parkinson's diagnosis because that had not been communicated to her. The office manager needs to run a more professional operation.
