Horrible Doctor. Left me waiting for over an hour. Had no clue about my Spina Bifida. She was terrible. It is rather shocking that this woman received a Harvard degree in her field that she seems very clueless in. Go see another doctor and complain to Scripps if you do see her, even better see a lawyer.
I visited Dr. Barnett with my 81 year old mother. She was magnificent. Aside from impeccable credentials, she explained everything so thoroughly and spent a lot of time with us. I was also able to reach her on the phone to discuss other issues of concern. I can't rate her highly enough.
I saw the Dr for approx. 30 min. We were seen in her office. She received a phone call while we were there. She stayed on the phone for minimum of 10 minutes! The phone call was about a pt. that went and got a second opinion because they didn't like what she had said. She was very unhappy that the patient had gone to another doctor. When I explained my PMH (Past medical Hx) she put her head in her hands and then put her head on her desk.
