Would never recommend this Dr to anybody with serious mental health issues as he deems anxiety disorder agoraphobia major depression and OCD as non chronic non life threatening issues as he told me himself being a a patient of his for over 10 plus years
Insurance was verified before my appointment to ensure I wouldn't have to pay the full fee given most Psychiatrists in Westchester don't take insurance, or only out of network. I arrived 5 minutes before, completed paperwork. Had a great first session with the Doc. He seemed to really listen and understand what I have occuring. Dr Hameedi is a true professional. He takes the time out to get to the root of the issues you're dealing with. He is compassionate and caring and goes above and beyond to try to make you comfortable. I recommended him to my friends.
I would recommend this doctor because I came to see him when I was in a terribly ill state, non-functioning with extreme anxiety and depression and he knew the right combination of treatment of medications and confidence that he could help me, and within a reasonable period of time and he did deliver on that.
Would highly recommend Dr. Hameedi . He takes the time to allow patients to comfortably discuss issues, therefore appointments may run a bit over. Truly worth it. He's not a pharmacy pusher, he prescribe medication that actually works in which you notice improvement. So pleased that I have finally found someone caring ,understanding and I'm comfortable with .So blessed !!!
I really love Dr Hameedi and after two years of staying with him even though he has NEVER been able to keep a scheduled appointment time. The final straw was me sitting there at 7:30 waiting since my 6:30 appointment I told the nasty receptionist that I had to leave and how this was unprofessional and left. Dr Hameedi called me at 8:30 yelling and said this is not the Bronx, not sure what he meant by that and told me if I wanted to continue to be a patient that I would have to wait. Nice

Dr. Hameedi is like an Angel for patients May GOD bless him. He treats patient with an extraordinary therapy & meds. He takes high intetest in treating patient so they were able to acheive life & career or other task smoothly. Due to his ongoing encouragement, patient is able to sustain job smoothly.
