What is happening in the emergency department at Fredericton Hospital is not just poor service — it is a serious failure in patient care. After more than 8 hours of waiting, there was no proper evaluation, no follow-up, and no clear communication. This is not “high demand”; this is disorganization. If my last name was Chalmers, I would be ripping my family’s name from this establishment immediately. By far the worst and most embarrassing ‘medical center’ I have ever seen and also a complete eye sore. I came to Fredericton 2 years ago (thank God I’m leaving soon) and since then I have been getting repeat health issues, which I now know is my thyroid. I have gone here 12 times over 2 years and only ever been seen 2 times (due to waiting over 8 hours and being a breastfeeding mother that has to leave so my baby can live).... read more
