Dr. Edward Katz was amazing and very attentive. After only two rounds I now have a beautiful baby boy. I would go to him time and time again should I decide to give my child siblings.
Dr. Katz,At the beginning of the treatment, Dr. Katz estimated that my wife was not going to be a hard one. Reason why he did give to our case the attention needed, after three years, we have no result. One of the disappointing thing is that after a serious procedures such as IVF, Dr. Katz does not take to time to evaluate with patients the different questions. Dr. Katz is amazing! He is knowledgeable and empathetic. He also has a great sense of humor which really helped us get through our IVF treatments. He always greeted me with a smile and really seemed to understand the physical and emotional roller coaster that is fertility treatments. The nurses at the GBMC Shady Grove office are also very responsive. Either Dr. Katz or one of the nurses always got back to me within a few hours. I highly recommend Dr. Katz and the staff at GBMC.
I LOVE Dr. Katz. He is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. The staff there is great and you only wait a few hours to get your results. I look forward to my Doctor's visits there.
Dr. Katz is nice and knowledgeable when you meet with him. However, he does not "check in" with his patients. After multiple unsuccessful treatments he did not suggest a different treatment option - another person at Shady Grove did, which he than followed. We have seen multiple people at Shady Grove and do not recommend Shady Grove. It is very hard to get a full treatment plan without following up with very specific questions that should not have to be asked by the patient, like many visits will this treatment take. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Katz and his staff. He is honest, accessible, and compassionate. He is by far the best doctor I have ever had in the most difficult time in my life. He is reasonable and thoughtful. I am currently being treated at GBMC and I am so happy with the staff there.
I would never recommend Dr. Katz. He is the most insensitive doctor that I have ever met. He was never encouraging and positive. He always made me feel sad and discouraged.
I would never recommend Dr. Katz. He didn't look at my chart until the day of and was not helpful at all. He compared having a child to playing baseball and we ere just having "bad luck" and just try again. He and his nurse Francie Box was a complete waste of time.
