Anti Depressants first, Parents second, Listening to Patients third. DR tried to treat what my parents wanted w/o ever listening to me, 21 now and I have to do it all myself. Doesnt explain pros and cons, have to ask for the specific kinds of meds I want, treated me like I was med seeking for using diagnosis words to explain my experiences. Dr. Segall is a lifesaver. He's funny and personable and makes you feel comfortable from the get go. He is very responsive to emails and offers telehealth appointments. Finding a psychiatrist you can trust is not easy and can take years. So grateful to have found Dr. Segall after a few bad experiences. It can take a few weeks to get an appointment with him, but I know to plan ahead for that. Highly recommend.
Trruly cares and is a great listener. Always leave refreshed and with a weight off my shoulders. Has even gotten me off the ledge. Very knowledgeable on prescriptions and interactiions qnd side effects too.
Dr. Segall is caring and responsive. He listens to what is going on in my life, makes constructive comments and remembers what I have told him from one appointment to the next. He responds to emails and voicemails in a timely manner. I have been seeing him for nearly 10 years and I dread the day he decides to retire. I am grateful every day to have him for a doctor
What a nice guy! I saw him today and thought he was funny, engaging, and genuinely caring. AND he does email!!! How cool is that?!!! I also saw on his website that he does e-appointments too. :)
I have been seeing Dr. Segall for many years. He is an excellent doctor who listens to what I am saying and prescribes recommendations and medications accordingly. He has been very helpful. He is very responsive to appointment requests via email - even on his holiday. He usually schedules at least a month out, so make your appointment in a timely manner. Highly recommend.
While Dr. Segall is very helpful when you see him, it is almost impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner. Even when the issue is urgent it can take over 4 weeks to schedule.
He was highly recommended by my general practice. I believe he's a very competent Dr. He is not helpful with billing problems.
