I have always been motivated to provide the best medical care from high risk obstetrics to advanced gynecology. I have a special affinity for complex laparoscopic gynecologic surgery, including DaVinci robotic surgery. I enjoy performing pelvic support surgery, hysterectomy, myomectomy, and treatment of endometriosis. That being said, the most important aspect of my care is the opportunity that I have had to build lasting relationships with my patients through listening and laughter.

After several doctors failed me and my child with misdiagnosis, Dr. Arroyo saved us. It took me years to figure out exactly what happened… mostly because I was so close to death. I had a rare syndrome that was misdiagnosed by doctors that judged me based on my address. The extreme pain I felt through the entire pregnancy was due to HELLP Syndrome. I was pregnant with my first child about 21 years ago and at roughly 20 weeks, I had a partial placental abruption at work. I was almost inconsolable but he took excellent care of me. He was calm, ordered a high level sonogram, and watched me like a hawk for 24 hrs. I cannot say enough about how soothing that was to a freaked out, very worried, first time mom. Based upon that, I would refer him to anyone because his behavior & treatment made me a patient for life.
Dr. Arroyo is a phenomenal doctor. I switched to Dr. Arroyo at the beginning of my second pregnancy and it was an answered prayer. I truly feel taken care of, heard, and understood. Dr. Arroyo is open to my thoughts and concerns and no question or fear is disregarded. He considers me and my situation very specifically rather than approaching me from a general perspective. Dr. Arroyo is amazing. He’s very knowledgeable and listens to the wants and needs of the patient. I felt as if I was in control of my own care and Dr. Arroyo enabled that.
When visiting my doctor for my annual examination I was very pleased with my overall experience. I had a baby a year and a half ago so this is the first annual I have come back too. He makes you feel like more then just a number or exam to get out of the way. Before we even began he was asking about my child and family, making me feel as though he genuinely cares about our wellbeing! I cannot say enough good things about fantastic Doctor Arroyo.

There is nobody like Dr. Arroyo. He listens to his patients and their concerns. He lets himself be a sound wall even if the discussion isn’t part of the visit. I tell people time and time again that I have the best OB GYN and will forever refer!
