Horrible office to deal with,. The rabid office manager is a nightmare. Dr malave doesn't respond to complaints about his office. Avoid the whole mess. Go somewhere else.
This doctor is a great man, and he cares about his patients. I met him in 2015, I was in Fort Hood Texas helping my daughter with child care. Well once I got in Texas, I signed up for indigent. When I made to him once my indigent kicked in, he ran test and found out my cholesterol was threw the roof. My good and bad cholesterol, was very high and he asked how in the world I was walking around and could have fell with a stroke or heartattack. I think the world of him and his office staff.
Dr Malave was friendly but easily sidetracked. The appointment lasted far too long because he spent a lot of time telling me about his wife, children, new car and TV he just ordered. He sent my script to the wrong pharmacy and though he prides himself on giving out his personal cell to all his patients, when I finally called him after 2 weeks of being unable to get his staff to follow thru on my script with my insurance, he answers and just hands them the phone. We are now on week 3, no script.
