Dr. Gantt, is a very knowledgeable surgeon. I felt very at ease with her very calming demeanor. Her care and concern after my surgery reassured me that I had selected the right doctor for my treatment.
I have seen Dr. Gantt 2 times. Both times she has been over 1 hour past the appointment time - and I have 9:30am appts. She is knowledgeable but if you work, this kind of disrespectful view of others time is unacceptable. There are other hand surgeons who are likely as good without the hassle. I’m going to find one. Ps: last time it was standing room only at OrthoCarolina office and they were offended when I went to wait in my car.
As soon as Dr. Gantt came into the room her demeanor made me feel at ease. She was knowledgeable and provided options. When asked to give the injection she did hesitate to provide the service and commonly talked me through the procedure.
Knows what she is doing. However, she is cold, unfeeling, matter of fact and does not apply the common courtesy of saying hello. I will be looking for another doctor as knowledgeable but a little more humane.

New patient attempted to see Dr. Gantt in early December. The day before the appt, I was contacted by office, physician couldn’t make the appt. I was offered to see her PA but my situation most likely will require surgery so I would have to see Dr. Gantt eventually so I declined and asked for next available. Dec 20 was earliest. Appt scheduled. Today, 12/19 I was contacted again that Dr. Gantt could not make my appt tomorrow and her next available wasn’t until January 2023. Dr Gantt was great to work with and I would highly recommend her.
Dr. Gant was very friendly, thorough. She spent as much time as needed to explain issue and treatment.
