After a wrist fracture Dr Kubiak talked with another Hand and wrist specialist in his same building to be sure I was getting the best treatment. Good to know that they work as a team to get the best information about orthpedic care.
DO NOT HAVE ANY MEDICAL PROCEDURES DONE BY THIS A-HOLE!!! I broke my Femur Neck Bone and he first inserted 4 screws but after 8 weeks of being on crutches I was still experiencing severe pain. I had to beg him to get a CAT Scan which showed there was a "NON-UNION" in the Femur Neck so he did a Total Hip Replacement but I was experiencing severe pain whenever I sneezed/coughed... he told me it was all in my head and wouldn't do any additional tests. Dr. Kubiak is the BEST MIS/Anterior Approach Hip Revision Surgeon in the entire USA! His Staff and the Entire Medical Team at the University of UT, Salt Lake City is OUTSTANDING and all of them "go beyond their call of duty"!!! I had a "Recalled Hip Prosthesis" that needed to be removed and replaced. I flew from Dallas, TX to SLC, Utah for my surgery, because there were no surgeons in Dallas that could perform the revision with the approach I requested. My doctor referred me to this particular doctor then it was a total surprise to the day I came in that I was scheduled with Dr. Kubiak without my knowledge that they had changed my appointment. Reluctantly, I accepted the appointment with Dr. Kubiak. My experiences with Dr. Kubiak had been disappointing as there was a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding of my condition as he left me feeling there was no hope as I would have to live the rest of my life in pain. I left the appointment in tears.
