I have been a patient of Dr. Czander for over ten (10) years and he has treated me for the residual affects of a CVA, back pain due to an auto accident, headaches due to Ozone poisoning and have found him to be knowledgable, caring, and willing to assist in every way. He has recommended me to the BEST PT to help me with my problems. I recommend him to any anyone who needs a Neurologist.
Nice in person...Jerk on the phone. Im not questioning his knowledge, I had a question about something that another Dr. of mine had suggested bringing up. He acted like I was questioning his opinion and reminded me how many years he has been practicing?!?! Well thanks...that was very professional. NOT going back. I get enough rudeness in life, I dont need to pay for it.
Dr. Czander went out of his way and personally called me at least 5 times to clarify test results and to make sure I didnt have any questions or concerns. Most doctors would have required appointments instead of a 1 minute phone call.
I found him to be an excellent, caring Doctor. Don't know what the earlier comments referred to.
I lived in the DC area for approximately 6 years and during most of that time I was in severe pain due to degenerative disc disease in my back. I was referred to Dr. Czander by my primary care doctor after many unsuccessful therapy attempts with other medical professionals. Extremely dismissive and not at all caring. Unwilling to administer any but the most basic tests unless his office could bill for it so was unable to help me with my concerns. Very negative experience I would not wish on anyone.
I have had the pleasure of being under Dr. Czander's care since 2002. During my diagnosis of Partial Seizure Disorder, he was thorough, caring and direct, answering all of my questions and helping me cope with the stress as well as physical discomfort of my condition. Very poor bedside manner. I left messages with his staff about my concerns follow a CT scan and MRI. He returned my phone call and did not address any of these concerns. He was flat out rude absolutely rude when we did speak, saying he had only a couple seconds and had to run off to the hospital. I confronted him about these issues. Dr. Czander was very thorough in the questions he asked and budgeted plenty of time to administer several tests, as well as explain results and help me develop a plan to deal with my condition. Polite, focused, attentive, positive.
