My husband went to Kahle 10 years ago, that’s when his real problems started. Keeps you waiting sometimes hours like your time is not important. Sees you, charges you, has you come back in 3 days for a repeat of the same, eyes just getting worse. He put new lenses on the FRONT of the eyes, which caused a hole in his eye, almost completely destroying the cornea, caused glaucoma, had to have a shunt put in ….he also burned a second hole In the eye so then he had double vision. Well, I went to the DMV once again for my vision test~ I have to do this every 2 years since 2010 when Dr. Kahle burned out my center vision. He knew that I had a condition that was not favorable to laser treatment. Unfortunately, I trusted him when he told me that I "HAD" to have surgery right away or I wold go blind... and I trusted him in his Sebastipol office prior to surgery when he told me he would NOT let me go blind. My family and I have had the best experiences with this Dr. and his team. They are friendly and treated us with respect and concern. I am from NYC and never had this type of service there. I highly recommend them; to us they are top of line.

It has taken me 6 years to finally write this review. Dr. Kahle destroyed my center vision. Knowing how myopic I was, he chose to perform laser surgery on me despite, what I later learned was not appropriate. I was diagnosed by him with presumed ocular histoplasmosis, which created abnormal blood vessels in the eye. He insisted that I needed surgery or I would go blind. Guess what he made happen!!!! My life since losing my center vision has been terribly challenging. I regret the day I re

Dr. Kahle and his staff are the best! I saw the doctor regularly for about 2 years with complete exams prior to cataract surgery in one eye, and the other eye a month later. Then follow up. I was very nervous before surgery and told the nursing staff who kindly reassured me. All was well following both surgeries. Dr. Kahle is focused, personable, and highly skilled with having done 1000's of cataract surgeries.
