Rescheduled appointments delayed twice for an additional 4 months after waiting three months. Staff rude. Taking my cancer elsewhere.

I've seen Dr. Hester for several years. He's thorough, caring and has a great personality. I never feel like he's rushing off to see another patient. He's always willing to explain procedures in specific terms.
Dr. Hester has a very nice bedside manner but I am disappointed with the surgery he performed. I had a punch biopsy for a deviated pore. He told me there would be a scar but the face on the skin would heal very quickly. The biopsy was done right in the middle of my nose. That was four months ago. There is still a huge hole there where it looks like a chunk has been removed. I feel like he should have explained this possible outcome before I had the surgery. Very unhappy with the result.
I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Hester the very day, due to a cancellation. He was awesome! Great bedside manner and very competent in diagnosing and explaining my issues.
Dr. Hester is probably the best dermatologist that I have been to. I've seen many secondary to my history of skin cancer and skin problems. His bed side manner is exceptional and he explains everything in detail before he starts a procedure. Highly recommend this physician.

I have been a patient of dermatology my entire adult life. I'm 54, so I've been to many dermatologists during my life; Dr. Hester is the finest one I've seen thus far. Clearly, his clinical skills are top notch, add his great communication skills and bedside manner and you have one fine physician. Five stars.
Dr. Hester is so amazing! He is very thorough in his examinations, which is to be expected with a Dermatologist, but where he is a cut above the rest is in his bed side manner. He listens to every word and makes you feel very comfortable with every procedure. My wife was diagnosed with melanoma and this brought major angst to our family. He was calm in his delivery of this news and answered every question we had. I would highly recommend Dr. Hester to anyone looking for a Dermatologist.
