Dr. Berkman is a caring, engaging, knowledgeable, and skillful physician and surgeon. He takes the time to listen to you as a patient, provides resources (videos, literature), and engages you in discussion so that you both can decide on treatment that is best for you. He's got a good sense of humor and makes you feel at home. His staff (Gloria, Gabriela, etc.) are all very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I had a pretty complicated situation with tearing my ACL and MCL and Dr. Berkman and his staff went above and beyond to make sure that I was able to get the proper care, surgery, facility and pricing. I do not know what I would have done without Gloria, Dr. Berkman and Dr. Meeks. It has been a tough recovery, injury and they have gone above and beyond to make sure I was able to get the best care.

Dr. Berkman has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've seen. He listens to you and truly cares about your questions and concerns. I'd recommend him to everyone!

When I met Dr. Berkman I was in excruciating pain. He was so kind and caring from the first moment he laid eyes on me. I had already been to two other orthopedic physicians both of which refused to listen to me. Dr. Berkman listened from the start and immediately went to work to figure out what was my best option and made sure it was one that would eliminate my pain as quickly as possible.. My testing was scheduled, completed, and surgery performed within 5 days. I think he is awesome!!!

Dr Berkman is an awesome doctor who really listen & treats an individual very well not only as a patient but also as a person! He is knowledgeable, friendly & easy to get along! Same with his assistants (Gabby & Gloria) who are equally knowledgeable, friendly & helpful to me as a patient.

Dr. Berkman and his staff are amazing!! A friend recommended him and I am grateful she did. After my first office visit I knew he was the best choice to help me care for my worn-out knees. He and his staff made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions and laid out my options both surgical and nonsurgical. He addressed all my issues and concerns with professionalism and respect. A year and a half later I had a total right & left knee replacement in 2017 that went extremely well.

For whatever reason, orthopedic issues seem to follow me around. The latest was a shoulder. Dr. Berkman diagnosed the problem and walked me through all options, surgical and non-surgical, answering all of my questions. The surgery went well and the prognosis is excellent, but the best part is that the morning of the day after surgery, he called to see how I was doing. With all of the surgical procedures I have had, not one doctor has ever called the next day. Great guy and great surgeon.

I am a medical student and had the pleasure of observing under Dr. Berkman. He is definitely a knowledgeable doctor, and always aims to alleviate the concerns of his patients. He is very thorough with his work, and aims to provide the best quality of care to his patients. Additionally, his staff is very friendly and always want the best for Dr. Berkman's patients.
