He really messed up the surgery for my father - ended up going to Duke and UNC to get it fixed and some the damage was permanent. Simple laparoscopic case turned into a nightmare. Do not recommend.

I would be interested to know the nature of the simple laparoscopic procedure. I do not recall any simple procedure having major complications. If it was a bowel resection that is a complex procedure that occasionally has complications. I would appreciate more details so I can look into it. Thank you.

I would never recommend Dr. Duberman. He I uncaring, does not listen, and is totally unprofessional. He made the wrong diagnosis for my problem. He disregarded the information that I had an ultrasound the previous week and the results sent to him. He took no notes. I mentioned the ultrasound three times to him in his less than five minute examination. He operated on me with his wrong diagnosis and found the real problem after cutting into my back. The ultrasound had the correct diagnosis

As I recall the primary care doctor never sent me the report of the ultrasound. Had the patient told me she had an imaging study I certainly would have looked at it. It makes my life easier to know the exact location of a hernia prior to repair. My staff is awesome, the office is very clean and patients say I am the most punctual doctor they have ever seen so the fact that she has rated these areas as a single star makes me take the rest of her review with a few grains of salt.
After years dealing with a number of doctors with little or no results to my particular problem, he diagnosed and found the proper treatment. He is the best!
