Today was my third visit. As usual, Dr. Drew & his staff were friendly & efficient. I was seen promptly for my appointment. Dr. Drew listens to any of your concerns & carefully explains the treatment about to be performed.
I was referred to Dr. Eric Drew by my general doctor for possible pinched nerve. He is thorough & listens to your concerns along with being personable and easy to talk with. Before & during the EMG he explained the process. Afterwards I was given treatment options. Dr. Drew along with his staff are friendly & professional. Communication was great - they handled preauthorization w/insurance & called me prior to the appointment to let me know approx. cost since I had not met my deductible. I met with Dr. Drew 2-3 times a few years ago. He ignored about half my symptoms, sent me to a bogus subspecialist because I suspect he had a diagnosis in mind before he ordered tests, didn't look at my MRI disc himself, trusting a radiologist's report that missed a tumor, and as a result misdiagnosed me completely.
Dr. Drew was good at diagnosing the problem. Unfortunately, after he prescribed a drug that the insurance company initially denial, the ball was dropped. He did not perform a “peer-to-peer” as I requested, and worse, his staff lied to me several times that the peer-to-peer was performed but the drug was still denied. Only after asking for details about the alleged discussion did the staff admit no peer-to-peer was performed. No apologies, just lies! Unacceptable.
Very poor experience with this doctor. Acted like he would rather be somewhere else and totally not interested in my issue. Told me to come back in 6 months without doing anything for me so I will never go back to him.
Each visit is a nightmare. He does not care how the meds are effecting you, and seems to be unwilling to reseach.
Dr. Drew leaves nothing to chance. I am so grateful that he is as thorough as we was and accurately concluded as to what the cause of my pain. Thank you.
I found the doctor cold, uninterested and not caring about my problem. I cannot recommend him for others.
I went in for memory issues and Dr. Drew has worked with me from day one to help get me back on the right track. Unlike most doctors that just throw out there...."because your getting older." He has seemed genuinely concerned, and that means a lot.
