I’m very disappointed to see the poor ratings Dr. Kandi has. I must wonder what the expectation of those people are. I found her to be extremely pleasant, kind and listened attentively to my issues. We didn’t talk about addiction because my expectations up front were realistic. She read my chart ahead of time and knew the challenging situation I am in with a chronic disease and spine issues. Extremely uncaring and unbothered by any problems I am experiencing. Treats you like a drug seeker. Repeats herself and does not listen at all. If you need pain management I’d def not go here. She was also almost an hour late and didn’t even acknowledge that. She came in dressed like a Beauty pageant contestant with a lab coat. If I could offer zero stars I would.
Stay as far away from this Dr as you can. As the other recent reviews stated, I also found her to be completely unhelpful, cold and uncaring; even condescending and hostile. In my experience, she is the only Dr at UTSW who is like this . All the many other providers I have seen have been stellar.
The most uncaring Dr I have ever had to deal with! Stage 4 lung cancer! Praise God my Oncologist is wonderful but this Dr lacks empathy or care. She doesn’t listen to anything I’m telling her. How does a “Pain Dr” manage cancer patients with no heart?!
