Dr Shaheen preformed a DIP surgery on my index finger, two weeks ago. I’m so happy with the recovery so far. Zero pain, X-rays today show fusion is doing well, Dr Shaheen explained every step of the surgery and recovery very well. Answered all my questions. She, and her staff, are 10 out of 10! Hopefully I won’t need her help again, but if I do… a second opinion won’t be needed. I have a hard time trusting or being comfortable with the medical profession, but Dr Shaheen won my trust!!!
UPDATE 4/14/25: Downgraded 3 stars to 1 star. Revisited Schaheen to retrieve corrected referral form (since she conveniently left out the fact that I have a complete Ulnar lateral band tear on the form) and other medical records. Upon initially speaking with her, she referenced this 3-star review and said she was confused as to why I wanted to see her again after reiterating the issue. after explaining that I’m here for my records and to confirm that my problem in the review is that she initially told me it was early arthrit... read more
Unpleasant experience with Schaheen. Wait times are ridiculous
I had surgery for dupuytren's contracture and trigger finger. two successful surgery's. Dr. Schaheen is a very good Dr. and a wonderful person, her staff is very competent and are there to help you. She really cares about her patients.
