I contemplated having bariatric surgery for a while. Dr. Acholonu made the entire process and recovery extremely seamless. He provided words of encouragement during every visit. I am finally embarking on my journey to better overall health!

From initial visit to surgery day and after care i was very pleased. Dr. Acholonu was professional, informative and kind. His nursing staff was very helpful and direct you every step of the way. I would highly recommend Dr. A to anyone in need of weight loss surgery.

It’s only been 10 days since my surgery, and results are showing and I feel great!
I have been seeing Dr. Acholonu since September 2021 and on the first visit, it was obvious he cared about helping me improve my health (and my life). He is very personable, explains things well, and answers all of my questions. I never felt safer or more confident going into the OR with someone. He seems to have very advanced surgical skills, he used robotics to perform my surgery and my recovery was better than I could have expected. I left the hospital not needing any pain medications. Dr. Acholonu is amazing. He was so caring and kept my husband updated as he waited. He has such a calming nature. I was not nervous going into surgery. He checked on me several times a day during recovery. I was lucky to have him! Thank you Dr. A!!
Dr. Acholonu performed by gastric sleeve surgery. He gave me lots of information on what to expect from the surgery, how to manage pain and what lifestyle changes to make post surgery. Great surgeon and great guy!
