Dr. Acholonu is amazing. He was so caring and kept my husband updated as he waited. He has such a calming nature. I was not nervous going into surgery. He checked on me several times a day during recovery. I was lucky to have him! Thank you Dr. A!!
Dr. Acholonu performed by gastric sleeve surgery. He gave me lots of information on what to expect from the surgery, how to manage pain and what lifestyle changes to make post surgery. Great surgeon and great guy!
Dr. Acholonu did my surgery at the end of June of this year and I couldn't be happier with the results or the process. He is friendly and knowledgeable, and always, always answers any questions that I have. I also had zero complications from my surgery.

Dr A is FANTASTIC. From the moment he walked into the room for my initial consultation, I knew I found the right doctor. He encourages me to ask questions (no matter how random or complex) and NEVER rushes me. He explains everything and while his sense of humor/bedside manner is A+++, he doesn't sugarcoat anything - which I appreciated, I felt like he wanted me to be as informed as I could be.
