I had sleep apnea, high blood pressure and was borderline diabetic. I had struggled with weight loss for a number of years and my primary recommend bariatric surgery. Dr. A is as good as they come. Throughout the entire process, he kept me well informed and was very supportive. The surgery went well with minimal pain after. I wouldn't have done anything differently. If you're considering a bariatric procedure, I highly recommend Dr. A.

From initial visit to surgery day and after care i was very pleased. Dr. Acholonu was professional, informative and kind. His nursing staff was very helpful and direct you every step of the way. I would highly recommend Dr. A to anyone in need of weight loss surgery.

It’s only been 10 days since my surgery, and results are showing and I feel great!
I have been seeing Dr. Acholonu since September 2021 and on the first visit, it was obvious he cared about helping me improve my health (and my life). He is very personable, explains things well, and answers all of my questions. I never felt safer or more confident going into the OR with someone.
