Dr. Hedaya has been my Neurologist for about 4 years. He is always personable and very thorough. One thing I GREATLY appreciate, is that he will personally call you if you have any questions. Call backs are generally the next day, and he does not rush to get off the phone. Questions are answered and explained thoroughly. I always leave the conversation understanding exactly what my treatments mean and how they may affect me. I highly recommend Dr. Hedaya.
He told me that my results indicated that I was making up the answers…..in other words “faking”.
Dr Hedaya is not warm but very knowledgeable. The office boasts the fact that they do an in-office MRI and doc will read it immediately after but the wait in between is ridiculous. Bedside manner is lacking from all staff and the office generally seems tired and unmanaged. Three stars because Hedaya knows his stuff but the office itself is pretty pitiful. Desperately needs to be renovated and the MRI seems old compared to ones I have previously had.
He has been my Dr since 2003. He is very through and very knowledgeable of my condition. He has a very “matter of fact”, stoic personality so if you prefer a different personality type...
I visited Dr. Hedaya after a seizure. After ordering standard suite of testing it was concluded that I had epilepsy. Upon subsequent regular visits, Dr. Hedaya was adamant on not performing another EEG and constantly down played the benefit and mentioning that you are not going to learn anything new. He chose not to order a 24 hr. EEG which would have pointed out that the medication he prescribed did not treat/suppress the underlying cause. Wait in office was 1.5 hrs, I told them I was leaving because it was so long. When I finally saw the Dr he talked with me for 30 mins told me what I already knew, told me my current meds were bad for pregnancy and changed them, I called my OB and the meds I was already on are safe and the one he gave me wasn't safe, and he was on his phone looking up a lot of things.
Very thorough examination in regard to my chief complaint. Was patient, didn't rush me and listened to what I had to say ( that's rare ..) incredibly knowledgeable and explained diagnosis & treatment plan, would highly recommend him & I don't do that lightly. On top of that he was on time !
