Dr. Schwarzenberger is great. He is very personable, really listens, and takes the time to explain things. He doesn't keep his nose on a chart or a computer screen, he's paying attention.
Prior to my first visit, I received a call from Dr. Schwarzenberger. He went over the many diagnoses and details in my medical record. He gave me an overview of what I could expect in the office. When I met him in person, his kindness shocked me. Of course his knowledge was astounding; but it was his kindness, patience and empathy that left me speechless and hopeful.
He was very patient friendly as he entered the room. Made me feel relaxed and comfortable. He listened carefully to my concerns. His responses were to my understanding. Took time to explain why I was referred to him and how we were moving forward .I was very pleased with my visit.
Everything went smooth from my walking in the door to my leaving after my procedure. Dr. Schwarzenberger was amazing along with all of the nurses and anesthesiologists. They all made me feel comfortable. I definitely recommend this office.

Boy did I get lucky with this first time visit to Woodholme. Dr Schwarzenberger was the first available GI and I needed/wanted to get an appointment as soon as I could. This doctor made us feel quite comfortable with his manner and apparent knowledge of my particular area of concern. He showed me not only my X-rays but also X-rays of similar issues in other people.
