Gone! Retired.....Which is a blessing given the terrible way she "treats" her patients. I went to her for several years (Type 1, Hashimoto's) but never had any issues with my thyroid. In May 2021 I had a flare up and felt like absolute garbage. I had about 8 different symptoms of low thyroid. Dr Mason has been my endocrinologist for over 11 years. I have been blessed to be under her care. Having a history of thyroid issues, I was always fearful that my heart health would be harmed. Dr Mason found the right balance for me and followed up annually so that my quality of life was not adversely affected. She is interested in my well being!

Saw her many years ago. She is rude with a terrible bedside manner. I am not looking to be coddled, but she spent all of 10 minutes with me, told me I DIDN'T have a thyroid issue (I do) and that I was just depressed. I am not one to cry, but she had me almost in tears. I did not feel heard at all; she told me my numbers were not the lowest she's seen and dismissed me. I can’t speak for her staff, but Dr Mason is the best endocrinologist there is! She treated my father for years for Type 1 diabetes. When he became unable to leave the long term facility he was in, Dr Mason came to him. This is Not typical of doctors today. Dr Mason is frank. She doesn’t sugar coat her diagnoses. If she tells you to exercise and lose weight, it is because that’s what it takes to manage a serious disease. She’s not gonna hold your hand and tear-up, she’s all business.
