I came to Dr. Kalliath to talk about getting a mouthguard to help with my sleep. I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine when I am home. I was hoping to use the mouthguard when i travel. When I got the device I was skeptical as it was much bulkier than the one I had before. After talking to Dr. K and trying her suggestion to wear the mouthguard while using the CPAP, I found that my sleep was significantly improved.....and my wife is happier because I make less noise. After being diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea last spring (2025) and using the cpap machine, I was in search of an alternative treatment plan as it was very intolerable for me.
