I asked her for paper so I could take some notes. She refused and said she'd take the notes herself for me. I explained that it was easier to understand in my own writing. She then proceeded to give me a questionnaire to determine if I had ADD, which was never my problem. She insisted on this before continuing in any way. I completed it because that was apparently the only way I could complete the visit and renew my prescription. I never returned. She was disrespectful and ridiculous in this ADD digression.
DO NOT seek treatment with this doctor. I am NOT a disgruntled former patient just one that was prescribed a mood stabilizer that I begged her to take me off of and she kept increasing the dosage. I ended up in a psychiatric ward in a suicidal condition, not a condition I had ever been in, but was brought on due to the medicine, at Evanston Hospital for 11-days while I was weaned off. Dr Frankfurt nearly killed my wife. She prescribed her a medication that made her suicidal and then did not immediately take her off the medication. She then proceeded to treat the side effects of the offending medication (wild mood swings which my wife had never had before) rather than the anxiety and depression my wife sought help for. She also insulted us when we questioned her suspect methods. Avoid if you value your life, she simply doesn't care about patients.

It seems you are spending more time slandering than focusing on treatment you are seeking. Copy and pasting is lazy and unethical, as you like to say. Beware of this doctor! She is cold and abrasive and has virtually no skill in providing effective treatment. In addition she is engaging in highly unethical and even illegal practices: we caught her DOUBLE billing us and our insurance for a single session, two charges for the same service (though she hid it under another service listing).. and when we tried to terminate services with her because of her corruption, and we requested a copy of diagnostic reports, she refused us access to our records (which is illegal according ... read more
Amazing doctor. Tries to find a balance and relationship with the patient to find appropriate medications. A doctor who continuously asks about updates in your life at each appointment assessing for significant changes to make sure medications are appropriate. The doctor takes detailed notes every session of updates on changes and in general. Doctor also takes detailed notes as to how much she prescribed a patient medications and what date to ensure certain medications are not being abused. Not many doctors around like this ... read more
Great doctor. Looks out for the best interest of her patients. Takes detailed notes every session about anything new that has changed. Very knowledgable of medications and interactions with overlapping disorders. If your a medication seeking patient, do not waste your time with this doctor she can seek that behavior out right away. If your unhappy with this doctor, your most likely a medication seeking patient jumping from doctor to doctor. So save her time for patients her truly appreciate her.
Staff was almost rude, and so was the doctor. In her greeting she mentioned her cell phone number, but when I called this number and left a message, she called back scolding me for using it and did not even listen to my questions. Her staff gave me some info over the phone, but another person next day started arguing with me that that info was not true and nobody could tell me that. I'd never go there, and luckily we didn't.
