Dr Griffin is by far the best pediatrician so cal. His genuine concern for children and families is unaparalled.
Dr Griffin will take the time to listen and respond to your child's needs, if that takes 5 minutes or 30 minutes it doesn't matter.. That does however create a wait at times.
We have been bringing our two children (2.5 and 4.5-year-old boys) to Dr. Rubenstein since their birth. In fact, Dr. Rubenstein was recommended to us by many of our friends as well as my clients. After reading two of the reviews on this website, I feel obligated to write my own. Dr. Rubenstein has been extremely friendly and patient with our two children. He is okay. He is a bit condescending. The staff at this Children's Care facility is horrible. The nurses were extremely rough with our then 4-month old daughter. I will never take her back here again. Please save yourself the visit, go somewhere else!
Dr. Rubenstein is very friendly and relates well with my baby. My daughter likes him which has made our appointments go smoothly. I didn't agree with his "cry it out" recommendation (my daughter soon learned to sleep through the night on her own), but other then that I have been happy with the care my daughter has recieved. The staff is very good and the office is usually running on time with their appoinments.
He doesn't have patience with kids. He scolds my kids in front of me for being what they are, kids! This happened in both 2 years I have seen him for an annual check up. After the first meeting I wanted to choose a different doctor, but did not get around to it. I had the misfortune to get treated the same way the ff year. He has this mean look on his face and not friendly or courteous at all. It is my first time to have experienced a doctor who is supposed to care for children and is not very caring. Wonderful pediatrician, does not make you feel rushed at all, very kind and knowledgeable.
