I cannot recommend Dr. Vasserman-Stokes more highly. She possesses a genuine warmth and curiosity that makes her a wonderful colleague and an even better clinician.
Dr. Stokes has an expertise in working with children and adults with a trauma history. She is a warm and supportive therapist who is a helpful guide for her clients as they make sense of the events that have happened to them. She also specializes in helping clients work through grief and loss. She has a great deal of experience working with the families of children who have chronic illnesses. She provides a safe environment for her clients to explore difficult feelings and be vulnerable enough to make changes in their lives.
Dr. Vassermann Stokes is truly wonderful! She is very professional and knowledgeable, yet down to earth and kind. I highly recommend her for both children and adults.
